The Library our earnings potential Our film library has excitement in store for millions of viewers. The library represents our main earnings potential. How do we put our library to work? We exploit German language rights directly for cinema, DVD and Blu-ray disc (BD), Video-on-Demand (VoD) and Electronic Sell-Through (EST) alongside PayTV and FreeTV. We pass on TV licenses to a TV network for a time period limited to several years. Then the license returns to us and can be issued a second and a third time. This second or third exploition of films, which in many cases have already completely paid for themselves, generates nearly 100 percent profit and guarantees Splendid a continuous cash-flow. A Library with a Future We are convinced that the demand for contents from the Splendid library will continue to climb. We are continually buying new film rights and thus widening our bandwidth.
