| The Splendid Group is a medium-sized, integrated media group that has been operating successfully as an independent in the German-speaking regions of Europe for more than 35 years. The Group generates sales and income from the exploitation of films and edutainment programmes, sales services for companies in the home entertainment sector and postproduction services. Splendid Medien AG has been listed on the stock exchange under securities code number (WKN) 727950 since September 1999. Splendid Film GmbH (100%), Cologne, acquires film rights on the international market and markets them primarily in German-speaking regions and in the Benelux countries. Polyband Medien GmbH (100%), Aschheim (Munich), purchases and produces special interest and family entertainment programmes and exploits them in German-speaking regions along the whole length of the value chain. Early Learning Group GmbH (formerly known as: Kids for Kids GmbH), Hamburg (100%), acquires, produces and markets family entertainment and edutainment programmes. Splendid Film, Polyband and Kids for Kids market their DVDs and Blu-ray disks (BDs) through WVG Medien GmbH (90% owned) in Hamburg. WVG Medien also markets its own programme and handles DVD/BD sales for other companies. Enteractive GmbH (85% owned) of Hamburg designs and develops digital added-value services such as animation, trailers, and games for DVD/BD and the Internet. Enteractive is also one of the leading international companies in interactive programme format development for Blu-ray technology. Thus, Enteractive complements the Internet/new media division of Splendid Medien AG and, together with Splendid Synchron GmbH (100%) and FFS Köln Film- & Fernseh-Synchron GmbH, forms the postproduction division. Splendid Synchron GmbH, based in Cologne, dubs foreign-language films and TV series and reworks acoustic engineering. In 2006, Splendid Synchron formed FFS Köln Film- & Fernseh-Synchron GmbH, Cologne, together with FFS Film- & Fernseh-Synchron GmbH, Munich. Splendid Synchron holds 51% of the share capital of FFS Köln. The Board of Management of Splendid Medien AG consists of the following members: Andreas R.
